Tour on Your Own or with a Group

Join us for a guided tour to learn about the diversity of the plant collections and varied habitats of the garden. Guided tours are perfect for groups and organizations looking for a fun and educational experience. Self-guided tours are also available.

We are committed to creating a positive experience for all guests by requiring advance group reservations to help us best accommodate your visit. Everyone in a group of 10 or more will receive a 10% discount on advance ticket purchases. If the entire group is paid for with a single transaction upon arrival at the garden, the 10% discount will also be applied.

Guided Tours

Tour the garden with a trained volunteer docent or Leach Garden staff and learn about the garden’s history, heritage trees, seasonal plants of interest, and “Back 5” habitat restoration area. You will also visit the historic Stone Cabin (not included in all tours).

-Groups of 5-24 people

-Approximately one hour

-Staff-led tours are $10 per person

-Volunteer docent-led tours are included in the cost of admission

-Advance registration required

-Dependent on staff and volunteer availability

Picnicking

Include a Pack-it-in, Pack-it-out Picnic with your tour! We offer seasonal use of the Far Meadow Tent or the Covered Arbor for picnics that accompany tours. Chairs and tables are included. Please note: Stand-alone picnics are not available due to our limited facilities.

-One month advance reservations required

-One hour reservations only

-Far Meadow Tent reservation fee: $25. April-October

-Covered Arbor reservation fee: $50. November-March
