Leach Botanical Garden is a wonderful destination for field trips. We currently partner with Portland Parks and Recreation’s Environmental Education team to offer field trips to the garden. Educational topics focus on amphibians, birds, decomposers, geology, habitats, invertebrates, plants, pollinators, social-emotional learning, and more. Field trips last between ninety minutes and two hours, take place fully outdoors and are. scheduled on Tuesdays - Fridays. Field trips rates are on a sliding scale of $0-$5 per student. In some instances, Portland Parks & Recreation can provide reimbursement for transportation costs.
