A Fall Fundraiser Experience at Leach Botanical Garden

Sunday September 14, 2025 - 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Guests will indulge in a multi-course feast crafted by Executive Chef Bryan Donaldson of Nostrana, where Cathy Whims—six-time James Beard Award nominee and now cookbook author—is chef and owner. The menu is inspired by Cathy's new book The Italian Summer Kitchen and is rooted in the rhythms of the garden. We're starting the evening with a line-up of Nostrana's favorites: aperitivo cocktails and salty snacks, followed later with wine pairings provided by Cana's Feast Winery in Carlton, Oregon.

This special program isn’t just about unforgettable food—it’s about celebrating the Garden as a place where our community connects.

Guests will be invited to participate in both Live and Silent Auctions, as well as a Paddle Raise. All funds raised go directly to support horticulture and programming at Leach Botanical Garden, thanks to the generous support of the event sponsors. About Nostrana:

At Nostrana, the farmers and ingredients cultivate the menu. They specialize in wood-fired, hand-tossed pizzas, creative seasonal pastas, robust meat and fish dishes and an award-winning selection of wines from Italy and the Northwest. This labor of love is undertaken daily by their amazing kitchen, bar, and service staff, led by Executive Chef Bryan Donaldson and General Manager Tellina Kuhlman.

Tickets are $175 per person, $1050 for a table of 6, and $1,400 for a table of 8.
