Back 5 Bioblitz

Come help us catalog the Back 5 plant communities!

We’ll be documenting what plants exist in the Back 5 to get a better understanding of what plants we’ll need to prioritize for future planting.

Participants will learn about our native and non-native plant communities, gain some plant ID skills/practice, and practice reciprocity by helping fall planning efforts. No experience required.

The Back 5 is an unmanicured space with a variety of hazards, such as steep and uneven paths, stinging nettle, and insects. This event may not be appropriate for young children. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
