Join Leach Botanical Garden's Eco Art Fundraiser!

Engage your creativity and create an eco-themed artwork around 6x6 inches in size or smaller to benefit Leach Botanical Garden. Your gift of art will be sold for $40 at a July program to raise funds to support the Garden’s operations. 

If you’d like to use a free canvas for your artwork, pick up days are listed below. Other media explorations are encouraged! Some ideas include basketry, ceramics, jewelry, metals, mosaics, stained glass, textiles, and photography. 

We encourage you to donate artwork that speaks to your connection to the environment. Let’s celebrate the plants, animals, insects, and the seasons with beautiful art. Inspiration abounds at the Garden and we recommend you visit prior to making your artwork.

Steps to Participate:

• Complete an online donation form by June 1, 2025
• Optional: pick up a canvas from our Visitor Services booth during open garden hours
• Create your artwork 
• Drive in and hand off your artwork at Leach on any of the following dates:
  
  • Tuesday June 10, 6 - 7pm (upper garden entrance)
  • Friday June 13, 11am - 1pm (creekside parking lot - lower garden)
  • Tuesday June 24, 6-7pm (upper garden entrance)
  • Sunday June 29, 11am - 1pm (creekside parking lot - lower garden)

• Optional: Join us at the artist preview reception on Friday July 11 from 5-6:30pm (RSVP required by email to development@leachgarden.org) and/or Saturday, July 12 from 10am-4:30pm for the public fundraiser sale.

One artwork donation per person, in order to make sure we have enough space to display a wide variety of community members' artwork.

Participation Info:

• As a donating artist you will receive a one year Individual Membership valued at $40.

• Your name and an image of your artwork will be shared on the Garden’s website.

• Artwork will officially go on sale Saturday July 12 at 10am. If your artwork does not sell during the program it will be displayed and sold via our gift shop on a rotating basis.

Artwork content restrictions: Please keep in mind that Leach Botanical Garden is a multi-generational space. We will not accept artwork that includes profanity, or violent or explicit content. If you have questions about allowable content please be in touch with our staff at development@leachgarden.org prior to submitting your work.
