Experience the healing gifts of the beautiful Leach Garden. During a 1.5 hour session, we will explore along the creek, and among the trees through a series of invitations designed to unplug, slow down and deeply connect with our senses, our body, and the land. We walk in small groups of up to 10 people, with time for each individual to stand and/sit in order to closely observe and experience the surroundings.
You can find more information on the event calendar to register for upcoming walks (March-May). We offer walks both in Vietnamese (monthly) and English (weekly).
Ly Duong was born and raised in Vietnam and came to Portland to pursue an MS in Leadership for Sustainability Education at Portland State University. She believes that the more we practice slowing down, the more we can see and feel the gifts, beauties, and connections within us and with the natural world. She is also a certified forest therapy guide with The Association for Nature and Forest Therapy.
Tickets are free for all guests.
Advance registration is required as the walks are limited to 10 people.
