Leach Botanical Garden

Tours at Leach Botanical Garden

Tours are offered each Saturday of the month at 10:00 am, February-November. The first Saturday of the month is the “gardener’s tour” led by Leach’s Garden Steward Scotty Fairchild. The Gardener’s Tour is offered year around. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and assemble in front of the Manor House. Admission to the Garden is free, but we suggest a $5 donation per person for the tours.

Each month we offer a different theme to the garden tours:

  • February: Winter twigs & berries
  • March: The Awakening Garden
  • April: Rhododendrons & Camellias
  • May: Native & Wild Lilies
  • June: Riparian Habitat
  • July: Special Habitats: Rock Garden, Troughs & Demonstration Beds
  • August: Ferns
  • September: The Plants of Lewis & Clark
  • October: Fall Color
  • November: Tall Trees & Conifers
