Membership

Helleborus orientalis, redLeach Garden Friends were organized November 16, 1981, and incorporated that December, in order to help the Leach Botanical Garden carry out the requests of the Leach wills: to use the Manor House for educational purposes and as a museum, and to allow the garden to be open to the public. Leach Garden Friends, which consists of over 100 volunteers, sponsor and operate the public educational programs for adults and children, provide guided tours, operate an international seed exchange, assist in maintaining the garden, and provide a library of more than 900 volumes.
